Innovative conveyor technology for the automotive industry
RTI Automation is constructing a modern conveyor system for transmissions at the VW plant in Kassel in close cooperation with Blumenbecker Engineering GmbH & Co. KG.
The project covers all phases, from detailed planning of the control technology, including the implementation of safety functions, to the precise configuration of the frequency inverters to control the drive technology. In addition, the technical implementation includes the development and integration of operating units that enable user-friendly operation and monitoring of the conveying processes.
This collaboration with a leading automotive manufacturer contributes to the development of innovative solutions that directly influence production efficiency and quality.
Innovative process optimization in biomass heating plants
On behalf of EnviaTherm GmbH, RTI Automation modernized the process control system at the Malchin biomass heating plant. The goal was to migrate PCS 7 from version 5.2 to 8.0 and integrate the KWU library.
Important components included the renewal of the control systems for furnace charging and flue gas purification to increase efficiency. A new operator desktop with Process Historian Server was implemented to streamline data collection and analysis. Assembly and commissioning ensured a smooth transition to the new processes.
The integration of complex systems provides valuable experience and actively contributes to the development of sustainable energy solutions. Not only is technology implemented here, but the understanding of innovative processes and their effects on the environment is also strengthened.
State-of-the-art cleanroom technology for Bayer
RTI Automation has built a modern production building in Leverkusen with advanced cleanroom technology for Bayer Technology Services GmbH. We took over the planning of the technical building equipment, including efficient heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems as well as grounding and lightning protection measures.
The energy concept ensures high efficiency with low operating costs. Our specialist construction management and careful commissioning ensured a smooth and safe process. The project enabled the integration of cutting-edge technologies in an interdisciplinary team and thus contributed to the development of innovative solutions that significantly improve the efficiency and safety of the new production site.
